analyzing - Horror short 'Kookie' Dir. Justin Harding  I will be analysing the short horror film called “Kookie” directed by Justin Harding and produced by Alter a YouTube channel that creates Short horror films like this one. Kookie was released on September 6th 2019. The narrative of the story goes as followed, Bree is a dishonest 9 year old who gets visited by a terrifying creature after a parenting lesson goes horrible wrong.    The short film starts with a wide Birdseye view shot of a car driving down a road. This shot is accompanied by some creepy music which helps set the tone for this short film. We then cut to a young girl watching what seems to be watching an old horror film, this could represent the genre on a meta basis, the characters know what happens in a horror film but the proceed to do the same things. LO4 - Evaluation

  In this first screenshot I have added text this means when the clip goes over to this part the text appears on screen for example in my product I used the text to use as credits for the ending of my video which says who produced the video and who edited it.  This second screenshot is a black video, a black video is a simple fx which overlays on top of the original video and just shows a black screen. I have used a black video in product because at the end of the video it showed extra footage and instead of deleting the clip I had the idea to put a black video over it which still keeps the music I used but doesn't show any clips. I also used this so I could add text to the video.  Furthermore, in my third screenshot I have added a additive dissolve, this effect adds colour from clip B to clip A but subtracts the colour form clip A to Clip B.
